This page contains a number of useful links to Access Grid Room related websites and communities using the Access Grid Software. It aslo provides access to various AGR related presentations and documents. International Australasian Australian Access Grid Project community AG Seminars and their organization: the Canadian experience One of the chapters in a book that is in press (2008) includes a chapter, authored by Jonathan Borwein, that gives a comprehensive review of the background, history and practice of the Canadian AG coast-to-coast seminar series. The original preprint (pdf) is still available, and also Guidelines for Managing a Distributed Seminar. AG Presentation Protocols (for lectures and seminars) The Protocols are provided HERE to facilitate the optimization of the quality and reliability of the AG collaborative experience. It is generally desirable to observe the Presentation Protocols, but it is a requirement for participation in several special AG events (such as Terry Tao’s Clay-Mahler Lectures and The AMSI Optimization AGR Colloquium Series). Seminar Programs A meeting held at La Trobe University in December 2006 established a national seminar program across the Access Grid comprising three components – loosely Pure, Applied and Statistics. This series will have its own dedicated seminar times based on eastern seaboard time zones and AMSI will be responsible for the identification of a convenor for each of the component series in consultation with the respective societies. This national program commenced second semester 2007 and the present arrangements, by which selected local seminars are broadcast across the Access Grid, will continue.
