Seminar Abstract:

Through this lecture we show that generalized convexity and generalized monotonicity are very natural and useful assumptions in consumer's theory while convexity and monotonicity are too strong to be retained. Some properties of generalized convex functions and generalized monotone maps are discussed in connection with their economic interpretations.
